Welcome to ES-SEPM
The objective of the Section is to promote geosciences in eastern North America through research in sedimentology, sedimentary petrology, paleontology, and stratigraphy. Members of the Section are students and professionals who conduct research, work or reside in the region. The section hosts its annual receptions, business meetings and keynote addresses at the Northeastern and Southeastern Section of the Geological Society of America conferences. At these conferences and in cooperation with other organizations in the region the Section also sponsors technical sessions, field trips and various special events.
